The Beatin’ Path is a compelling, witty, charming yet sobering collection of prose and poetry. Written by award-winning author John B Lane, we worked together for over a year on this special project. Expanding upon vintage illustration material for its visuals, this book is particularly timely and meaningful when one considers our current political and social climate. One of my favourite projects of all time.

Julia and Holly Wagg co-founded the Ten Oaks Project in 2004, bringing the transformative words “intentional magic” into my vocabulary. I had the privilege of developing visuals for Ten Oaks Project, and of watching their passion project grow and thrive through hard work and determination. In April of 2017, Julia passed away following 14 months with leukaemia. I designed this badge to commemorate her strength, determination, joy, and intentional magic - and to recognize the legacy she leaves behind. Julia, you will always be in my heart.

Bear 71 is an award-winning, critically acclaimed interactive documentary created by Leanne Allison and Jeremy Mendes in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada. The content is moving and heartbreaking, and the interactive component of the documentary is beautifully executed. I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself (do have a box of tissues handy).

The third camp program brought to fruition by the magical Ten Oaks Project, Oak Grove Family Camp is a weekend long, sleep-away camp for 2SLGBTQ+ families who have a child or youth aged 17 or under in their care - including both those who are headed by (a) 2SLGBTQ+ parent(s) and those with an 2SLGBTQ+ child.

Bronwyn and Andreas are a powerhouse team. Combining business smarts, chic design touches and a perfected family recipe, they started Pretzel & Compagnie from their already successful bakery. It wasn’t long before the accolades started rolling in. I had so much fun working on this with Bronwyn, and it has been so exciting to watch their journey. A sweet, lovely, family-run business, with the best pretzels in town (and the coolest neon you’ve ever seen).

The team at St Mary’s Hospital Foundation works tirelessly to raise funds each year via many high profile (and in this case, high energy!) events. I worked with them to create the branding to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Girls for the Cure, complete with custom bandana design.

SERVICE: Veteran Stories of Hunger and War captures the food stories of United States veterans serving from WWII through to the recent War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. Compelling, poignant, humbling stories given the respect and time they deserve by Jacqueline Raposo and her gorgeous voice. It was a privilege to participate on this legacy-building project.
