A Christmas tree. Last year we couldn't get one, and I was pretty sad about it. I love opening dusty boxes marked "fragile" each year, admiring old pieces and welcoming new ones. The lights, the sparkle, the delicious pine scent... throwing patterns on the walls and adding a cozy comfort to the living room. Did I mention I love Christmas trees?! This one's never coming down. Autumn Interlude
Some days just aren't worth mentioning. You wake up feeling awful, your to-do list is woefully uninspiring, there are no clean socks, your inbox is so clogged it needs medical attention. I could go on. Taking a vacation or even a day off would help - although that can be a tough challenge (both spontaneously and financially) for many of us. But an hour?
