A fresh pair of afghan slipper socks. My beloved old ones were full of holes and the soles had fallen off – it was time. Toasty tootsies for under twenty bucks, yes please! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
A fresh haircut after too many months! Merci Chez Snips!! Have a wonderful weekend everybody!
Helping friends with their projects! The lovely and talented Nadyne was working on a video to showcase her fabulous, homey and very inviting home-salon Chez Snips so of course I didn’t hesitate. Even with a move to Hudson I still love heading over to Nadyne’s to get my hair cut – it’s like going to a friend’s house. A beautiful, adorable friend with amazing hair. Who proceeds to make YOUR hair amazing, fills you with laughter, and sends you on your way. Seriously, make an appointment.
You’ll also catch a cameo of my dear friend and beautiful mama Bess with brand-new sweet baby Edwin, PLUS a glimpse at the cover of the very first print issue of Pure Green Magazine!!
Nadyne directed me to look like a dork. Actually she didn’t, but perplexingly, that’s exactly how I look. Sorry Nadyne :) Congratulations on your beautiful video, I love it! Happy weekend everyone!

Trying a new recipe and liking it! Recipe here – I added more feta, couldn’t help myself. Have a wonderful weekend!
A little flexibility. Everyone gets to break the rules now and then – even giant fuzzfaces who aren’t normally allowed on the bed. Would you look at that is-this-really-happening face? We’ve created a monster. Happy Friday!! Hope you all get to sleep in this weekend.
Celebrating the joys of friends. Welcome, sweet Edwin Forrest Nock! Congratulations, dear Bess and Charles! He is perfectly scrumptious! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Getting over a bad cold just in time for Christmas… a gorgeous and unexpected blanketing of snow… knowing that the next week will be spent cozying up with family and friends and good food. Wishing you all heartfelt holiday greetings – hope you all have a loving, warm, delicious weekend! Happy holidays!
Seeing the glass half full. Whew!! Courage, arms ;) Happy Friday!!
A Christmas tree. Last year we couldn’t get one, and I was pretty sad about it. I love opening dusty boxes marked “fragile” each year and reminiscing – admiring old pieces and welcoming new ones. The lights, the sparkle, the delicious pine scent… throwing patterns on the walls and adding a cozy comfort to the living room. Did I mention I love Christmas trees?! This one’s never coming down. Have a wonderful weekend!
Sandwiches. Oh man, how I love you, sandwiches. I must endure a limited diet at the best of times so sandwiches are a real treat. For him: bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and dijon on baguette. For her: leftover grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, mayo and dijon on gluten-free bread. AND sweet potato wedges roasted with thyme. Yum!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
